After I lost horribly in monopoly on Monday, we tried a new strategy. Swaim and I tag-teamed. I played the beginning of the game- the initial property buying, rent collecting part. And then when he got off the phone, he took over the game and handled all the trading / house buying / etc.
In the end our team pulled off a decisive victory.
Success.

Meli, I think the tag-team strategy works better for both of us...you get to play the fun part of the game (in my opinion) and win, and I actually get to talk to Josh before I go to bed! Monopoly can take forever!
Your strategy is doomed once Josh stops getting lucky and ending up in jail every third turn so everyone else has to keep going around the board and making payments. Even though I've been out first in every game we've played, I have you all right where I want you.
