We are definitely getting some rain from Gustav. I think we'll get more from the actual "tropical storm" tonight and tomorrow. Looking at the radar for Texas is amazing, the storm still looks like a hurricane, though it is on land now.
So is anyone else bored? I seriously have nothing to do... I finished the class readings we had to have done from last week and I'll watch the lecture later on tonight. I also did a "lesson plan," or rather, finished it from earlier. Youth Ministry stuff doesn't start until Sept 14th. I was supposed to meet with my mentor today, but she's been kind of busy or just not in her office. It is 3:20 now and I'll probably leave in 10 minutes. I have a great meal planned for tonight =)

Welcome to Texas. And yes, until the big things start at my parish the days go by a little more slowly than they will later. At least I think.
yes life is much slower than usual. today, i went to mass, listened to class, complimented someone in the office for her haircut, figured out which movies to show with which topic for my 8th grade morality class, played Hannah Montana games with the granddaughter of one of the office ladies, bought plane tickets, went to confession, and bought groceries. i miss college but im not complaining
